The Living Vertizontal podcast emerged out of a desire to continue these Jesus-led conversations throughout the week.
We believe Jesus is continually speaking to His creation through His Holy Spirit. Every Sunday morning we sit around tables in an elementary school in expectation that He will continue to speak to us directly, through scripture, and through our brothers and sisters in Christ who sit at these tables with us.
There, we allow Jesus to shape our hearts and mold our desires, transforming us into His image. Each week we leave those tables with more to be shared and more to be learned.
It is our hope that as the Spirit leads us, He will also lead you, and our time around these tables will extend into your homes, places of work, and commutes, that together, we might embrace living vertizontal.
Well, it is a mashup of Vertical and Horizontal. It is an ethic or way of living where we acknowledge the role Jesus has in our lives and then choose be like Jesus to those around us.
Daily choice to build a relationship with Jesus through; reading his word, talking to Him and listening in expectation.
Daily choice to be around and interacting with other people.
Where these two choices combine in life. As we live in relationship with others we choose to move slow enough to allow Jesus to lead us in these relationships.
